I never really see anyone not on those pipes and they've learned how to hide themselves from the ground, the only other thing to do is to try and counter-snipe, I prefer the mission impossible style  good job bluedot put the uplink there. |

When I get bored I go all out and create 11.11 gallente and 11.12 minmatar scout suits and spend the whole game hunting down snipers, of course that's just one account, but sometimes I stay on it for a while and only play in the redline.
Annoying snipers is a passion, I should get paid for it. |

no it's 0 ISK lost for me and a Thale for him, not really mission complete if you can't snipe anymore 
mission complete if i spend the whole game looking for him and don't find him, which happens sometimes.

He is taking you away from point, meaning one less guard, meaning a slightly higher chance for a flip. It is a mission complete. A sniper's job, is to take out equipment and heads - as well as create panic, which then produces a search team to kill said sniper, taking away people from point. In the words of of the great Sleepy Zan: "A real sniper doesn't provide battlefield intelligence, a real sniper leaves no intelligence left on the battlefield."
Game was complete ****, I left after killing this guy anyway. I joined halfway through and was doing nothing apart from getting sniped anyway.
1 person search team means nothing when I can walk down the pipes and get back to the objective quickly.
I know what you're saying but I'd say that only really applies on the huge maps where you can't find the ******* snipers. Spawning, instantly killing someone and having the ability to run back to objective within 30 seconds, really isn't taking much from my team.
taking officers weapons though? worth it. |
